MH370: Royal Malaysia Police Files
A set of files which appear to contain copies of folders collated by the Royal Malaysia Police were released on the Internet, despite their security classification and risk to the person who obtained the data. The folders are described below:-

- 238 Pages. A report on MH370 by Suruhanjaya Komuikasi dan Multimedia Malaysia (SKMM) also known as the Malaysian Communication and Multimedia Commission which covers social media activity, phone records, and more detail of the pilot's home flight simulator.
- Folder-5-MH370-Aircraft-Records-and-Radar-74-pages
- 74 Pages. Details about aircraft 9M-MRO including previous flight history, flight plan for MH370, technical logs and Catering records.

These files, which were never intended for public release, were hosted on various websites, including scribd.
However, over time these folders have been withdrawn from common internet locations. Copies may have been kept by various journalists and others.
